It is foreseen that workshops on the European Union RASFF will be held in:
- Thailand, 12-14 June
Participants from the following countries will take part in this workshop: Laos, Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Maldives as well as representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat.
- Argentina, 25-27 September
Participants from the following countries will take part in this workshop: Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru Uruguay, Venezuela, as well as representatives of the MERCOSUR Secretariat.
- China, 6-8 November (Tentative Country and dates)
This workshop is reserved for Chinese participants.
The workshops, of three days of duration, are intended for government officials and staff of competent authorities of relevant third countries as well as industry representatives and stakeholders.
Between 80 and 100 participants will take part in each workshop, most of whom will be staff of competent authorities. In some cases, the travel and accommodation expenses will be financed.
In each country, under the supervision of the competent EC Delegation, a National Project Coordinator will be nominated. He/She will be the person responsible for receiving registration forms and all documents required for participation in the Workshops.
